Emma Raducanu will lock horns with Linda Noskova in the second round of the 2024 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart on Thursday, April 18.
Raducanu arrived in Stuttgart on a high after she played a huge role in her team's triumph during the Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers. She defeated Caroline Garcia and Diane Parry in three sets to win both of her singles ties, which laid the groundwork for Team UK's passage into the finals.
Raducanu continued her good run of form as she made light work of former World No. 1 Angelique Kerber 6-2, 6-1 in the first round here. She has made it to the second round in Stuttgart for the second time in her career.
Raducanu will now aim to reach the quarterfinals of a tournament for the first time since the 2022 Korea Open.
Where is Emma Raducanu playing?
Raducanu is currently participating in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, a WTA 500 event. This is her third appearance at the tournament. She made it to the quarterfinals on her debut in 2022 but lost to World No. 1 Iga Swiatek in straight sets.
Raducanu didn't have the same level of success last year as she went down to Jelena Ostapenko in the first round itself.

Raducanu's second-round opponent is World No. 31 Linda Noskova. The Czech teen dispatched former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko in straight sets to begin her run in Stuttgart.
Noskova has played pretty well this season. She has scored three wins over top-10 opponents and reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open too. The Czech teen and Raducanu have faced off once before.
Their only prior meeting took place in the first round of the 2022 French Open. Raducanu lost the first set but fought back to score a 6-7 (4), 7-5, 6-1 win.
