British tennis expert Laura Robson has praised Emma Raducanu, saying that the young player "looks really good" ahead of the clay season and that she should not be worried about her recent fitness issues.

The British No. 1 is set to play at the Stuttgart Open starting on April 17. Robson said that Raducanu's level is high, and she hits the ball as well as any of the top players on tour.

Raducanu has struggled with injuries and consistency in her recent matches, especially after a month off due to tonsillitis following her second-round defeat at the Australian Open.

Robson advised that if Raducanu can get a couple of consistent weeks under her belt, her belief will increase, and she will trust her body more. This would allow her not to worry about small injuries that are just part of being a tennis player.

“I think if she's just able to get another couple of consistent weeks under her belt, then the belief will come and you start to trust your body a bit more and you start to then not worry about some small injuries because it's just part of being a tennis player," Laura Robson said.
"She's been on a practice court in the UK at Wimbledon and looks good, she looks really good," she added.

Robson stressed the importance of finding the right balance between training, matches, and tournament schedules that work for the individual player's body. She emphasized that everyone is different and requires a different amount of matches, and finding the right balance is crucial to prevent injuries and improve performance.

"But it's just finding the right balance on the training side of things, on the match court and tournament schedule side of things to make it work for the body because everyone is different, everyone requires different amount of matches as well." Robson added

The upcoming Stuttgart Open presents an opportunity for Raducanu to showcase her talent on the clay surface. Fans will be eagerly awaiting her return to the court, hoping to see her talent shine on this surface.
