Serena Williams still thinks about training all the time.

Serena Williams, who decided to "evolve away" from tennis after the US Open last year, recently admitted on social media that she misses the sport and thinks about training every day.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion hung up her racket after a third-round loss against Ajla Tomljanovic at the 2022 US Open.

Williams announced her retirement from tennis in August 2022 through Vogue.

“I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me,” she said. “I’m torn: I don’t want it to be over, but at the same time I’m ready for what’s next.”

Since moving away from the sport, the 41-year-old has been quite active in the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and business.

Despite her various commitments, Williams shared on social media that she missed playing and that she thought about training for more than eight hours a day.

"Everyday I miss playing than I think about training for 8+hrs a day…. It’s not that bad right?" she tweeted.

Serena Williams was the second-most Googled Black woman in 2022, behind only singer and actress Zendaya. Williams drew more searches on the platform than other prominent names such as Meghan Markle, Beyonce, and Michelle Obama, according to a recent study by lifestyle website ThatSister.

Williams' name was searched 1.6 million times on Google last year, while top-ranked Zendaya recorded 2.7 million searches.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion edged her good friend Meghan Markle, who had 1.5 million searches to her name. Jada Pinkett-Smith, Oprah Winfrey, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Whoopi Goldberg were also part of the Top-10.

With the month of March being Women's History Month and on the occasion of International Women's Day, Williams received a special tribute from English football star Michail Antonio, who plays for West Ham United FC.

Fifteen players from the Premier League side's squad celebrated Women's Day by wearing training kits that paid tribute to their mothers, with either 'Mum,' 'Mama' or their mothers' names on the back of their kits. However, Antonio decided to give a special shoutout to Williams, wearing a jersey that simply read "Serena Williams" on the back, along with his kit number.
