Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle has shared her horrid past two days as she fell ill after attending the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The American said she had been "fighting for her life."
Riddle, an internet personality, has lately been hosting and promoting several events across the country. The American appeared at amfAR's Inaugural Gala in Sin City, where she interviewed several celebrities.
Fritz's girlfriend was also a special guest at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, invited to celebrate McLaren's latest partnership with Mastercard.
A few days after the race, Morgan Riddle fell ill upon getting infected with Norovirus. Also called the Norwalk virus, it is a group of viruses that causes severe vomiting and diarrhea. The American influencer took to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, November 26, to explain her ordeal:
"Have been fighting for my life for the last 48 hours. Truly wouldn't wish norovirus upon my worst enemy."
Riddle showed figures in another story illustrating her extended sleep hours since becoming ill. The data indicated that the American had slept more than 18 hours on Monday and over 14 hours the next day.
"Literally I don't remember anything since Sunday night," she wrote.
Norovirus is listed as the primary cause of foodborne illness in the US. The disease is usually more contagious during the colder months. Although no vaccine exists for the virus, the infection generally ceases in three days or less.
