Frances Tiafoe recently expressed his affection towards his longtime girlfriend Ayan Broomfield.

The World No. 14 has had a decent start to the new 2023 season and was last seen competing at the Indian Wells Masters and the Miami Open. He performed brilliantly to reach the semifinals in California but couldn't continue his emphatic form in Miami, bowing out to Lorenzo Sonego in the second round.

With the claycourt season just around the corner, the American celebrated the end of his time at the Sunshine Double with some quality time with his girlfriend. He also shared an appreciative post on his Instagram account highlighting how she has supported him like a "rock" over the years..

"Appreciation post for My Rock, nothing but love baby, gotta ask y'all what looks better on us 2018 or 2023," Frances Tiafoe captioned his Instagram post, sharing a recent as well as a throwback picture of the him with Ayan Broomfield.

Broomfield commented under the post, joking about how their 2018 outfit in one of the photos did not look flattering at all.

"Love you 🥺🥰 also we need to talk to anyone that allowed us to pull up like that in 2018 because that was not okay," Broomfield joked.

Tiafoe's girlfriend Broomfield is also a professional tennis player and has already won two doubles titles on the ITF circuit. She's reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 680 and doubles ranking of World No. 467.

The Canadian is often seen supporting her boyfriend from the stands and was also present during his sensational run at the 2022 US Open. Tiafoe defeated the likes of Diego Schwartzman, Rafael Nadal and Andrey Rublev en route to the semifinals but couldn't outlast eventual winner Carlos Alcaraz in the last four.

Frances Tiafoe will be in action next at the 2023 US Men's Clay Court Championships in Houston, Texas.

The American will be entering the ATP 250 event as the top seed, followed by Tommy Paul. The likes of J.J. Wolf, Brandon Nakashima, Marcos Giron and Denis Kudla will also stake their claim for the title in Houston.

This will be Tiafoe's fifth appearance at the claycourt event and he'll be looking to make a significant impact this time around. He's chalked up 15 wins from 20 matches in 2023 so far and won the United Cup at the start of the year while representing the United States.

The 25-year-old will be entering Houston on the back of five wins from his last seven matches and has received a first-round bye. In the second round, he will take on either compatriot Steve Johnson or Facundo Bagnis.
