Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka was recently spotted with the year-end WTA No. 1 trophy. The 26-year-old concluded her 2024 season with 9416 points, 1046 points more than the second-placed Iga Swiatek.
Sabalenka had an impressive run in her 2024 season in which she won two Grand Slam titles, the Australian Open and the US Open. Besides, she also got her hands on the Cincinnati Masters and Wuhan Open. She also reached the finals of the Italian Open, Madrid Open and Brisbane International.
These notable performances across the season earned Sabalenka her first year-end No. 1 trophy. She received the trophy after the WTA season-end tournament in which she was eliminated in the semifinals after a loss to Coco Gauff. During the trophy presentation ceremony, Sabalenka was seen wearing a stylish black blazer, complemented with blue denim trousers.

Swiatek who was the main rival of Aryna Sabalenka for the No. 1 spot missed out on an opportunity to clinch the feat for the third consecutive time. The Polish player faced early exits in numerous events this season including the US Open, Australian Open and WTA Finals.
However, the head-to-head statistics between the two players remained in favor of the Polish player this season with two wins compared to Sabalenka's one.
