Eugenie Bouchard is trying her hand at another sport, but for fun. The Canadian attended the Battlecourt Jai-Alai tournament being held in Miami and also had a go at the sport herself.

In Jai Alai, a person wears a glove made of wicker (used to make wicker baskets) and throws the ball with the glove at great speed in an enclosed space. The World Jai Alai league is currently holding the Battlecourt Jai-Alai tournament in Miami.

Bouchard attended a doubles match between The Renegades and The Cyclones on Friday (March 24). Post the match, the Canadian also tried her hand at the sport as she wore the wicker glove used to throw the ball.

Bouchard took to her Instagram stories to show how well her attempt at Jai Alai went. Early on, she was confident, but her initial trial failed. The Canadian tennis star then posted a video of her getting the hang of the unique sport.

"My turn, how hard can it be right?? @jaialaileague" Bouchard captioned her story.

While it didn't go as planned, she updated the fans with a simple "wrong" in her Instagram story.

After slight practice, Bouchard got the hang of the sport and showed slight improvement. She also showed that the glove is tied to the player's hand, giving her fans a glimpse into the sport.

"Slightly better," another captioned story read.
"They tie it to your hand," another caption read.
