In the 2016 edition, Petra Kvitová emerged as the champion by defeating Elina Svitolina with a commanding score of 6-4, 6-2 in the finals. In 2017, Julia Görges claimed the title with a convincing victory over CoCo Vandeweghe, winning 7-5, 6-1 in the finals.

The 2018 edition witnessed former World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty clinch the championship by defeating Wang Qiang with a score of 6-3, 6-4 in the finals. In the most recent edition, the current WTA World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka solidified her dominance by defeating Kiki Bertens with a score of 6-4, 6-2, and she continues to hold the title as the defending champion.
