New York Times tennis correspondent Christopher Clarey has shared an update on Sebastian Korda's latest wrist injury.

The American defeated the likes of Daniil Medvedev and Hubert Hurkacz en route to the quarterfinals at the Australian Open. However, he was forced to retire from his last eight clash due to an unfortunate wrist injury against Karen Khachanov. The 22-year-old struggled to time the ball after sustaining the injury mid-match and eventually retired in the third set against the Russian.

In light of this, Christopher Clarey gave a positive update on Korda's injury, revealing that the recovery is coming along well, and hopes to see him soon on the ATP Tour.

"Hearing that the news on Sebastian Korda's wrist is encouraging. Pain forced him to retire during his quarterfinals with Khachanov at the Australian Open but suffered no significant structural damage. Hopefully he may able to return to action soon," Christopher Clarey said.
