Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, reacted to the 23-time Grand Slam champion and her sister, Venus Williams' newest podcast on X Original, slated to begin in August 2025. The trailblazing tennis sisters have joined hands several times, especially investing in sporting avenues.

Serena Williams and Venus Williams have been the most promising names in the tennis realm for over two decades. They etched their names not only for their camaraderie but for their toe-to-toe rivalry on the court. They faced each other 31 times, with the younger sister leading 19–12, and won 22 titles in doubles; three Olympic gold medals and 14 Majors.

In recent news, the sisters came together to start a new venture, slated to begin in August this year. Serena Williams and Venus Williams will host a podcast on X Originals, co-produced by the 43-year-old's Nine Two Six Productions.

The major announcement drew the attention of Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian. He shared the post on his X handle.

"Love this," Ohanian wrote.

On the X Originals page, the sisters talked about their new venture and what they would offer on the platform.

Alexis Ohanian, who co-founded Reddit in 2005, served as the executive chairman of the online bulletin till June 2020. Besides, he invested in various start-ups and has been a strong advocate for women's sports. He was the lead investor in Angel City FC, a new franchise of the National Women's Soccer League. In May 2025, he bought 10 percent shares in Chelsea Women FC and entered the club's board of directors.

An X user, claiming that people don't want women's sports, received backlash from the tech mogul. The latter shared the picture of a t-shirt line created collaboratively by Nike and Togethxr, flashing the words:

"Everyone watches women sports"

Ohanian founded Athlos with the help of his venture capital, Seven Seven Six. The women-only track event not only changed the scenario of women's sports but also offered a massive prize pool.
