Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently shared a heartfelt message dedicated to his daughters, Olympia and Adira, vowing to continue fighting for their future. His remarks came a day after Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. Presidential election.

Republican nominee Donald Trump won 295 electoral votes, surpassing the 270 needed for victory. His opponent, Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, secured 226 electoral votes, falling short in the presidential race. With this victory, Trump became the second from his party in 20 years to secure a second term in office, following George Bush.

Following the Democrats' loss on Wednesday, November 6, Alexis Ohanian shared a graphic on X showing that Trump had gained the vote share in all except two states compared to previous elections. The 41-year-old urged the Democratic Party to re-set its strategy to improve its chances in the next election.

"Dems — time to hit reset + regroup," he wrote.

Ohanian also suggested that Democrats should rebuild their platform, focusing on core values and principles to better connect with and appeal to American voters.

"Build back a platform and strategy to appeal to Americans from first principles," he wrote.

A day after reflecting on Donald Trump's win, Alexis Ohanian shared two images on X—one from earlier days with baby Olympia and another showing the now seven-year-old. The Reddit co-founder also posted a heartfelt message for his daughters, which read:

"Then ➡️ Now. I'll keep Fighting for you & your sis. And I'll do better."

Ohanian, a tech entrepreneur and co-founder of Reddit, now leads the venture capital firm Seven Seven Six.

Alexis Ohanian recently shared that Olympia shared an inquiry about voting with him. Responding to this, the 41-year-old emphasized the rarity of free, fair elections and peaceful transitions of power, urging gratitude for these rights. He shared on Instagram.

"Olympia's big question last night was about voting and I explained what a miraculous (YOUNG) experiment our republic is in the timeline of humanity (and we didn't get it perfect from the start but we are always working to improve it - like fighting to make sure girls -- especially Black girls like her -- could vote) and how RARE a society with prolonged free and fair elections AND peaceful transitions of power is. Do not take these for granted." he wrote

Ohanian married 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams in 2017, two months before they welcomed their daughter Olympia. Their second daughter, Adira, was born in August of the previous year.
