Katie Boulter was all praises for boyfriend Alex de Minaur after the Australian won the Mexican Open in Acapulco on Saturday. De Minaur clinched the biggest title of his career, coming back from a set down to beat American Tommy Paul in the final.
British tennis star Boulter posted a heartfelt message for De Minaur on social media with a pinch of humor.
The WTA World No. 142 proudly shared a video of De Minaur celebrating with his trophy and said that he deserves such great moments in his career. She also joked that she would like to see him get a haircut now that the tournament is over.
"Some people just deserve it all. Some people is this guy @alexdeminaur," Katie Boulter wrote on Instagram.
"Next stop > a haircut," she added.
Boulter herself last competed at the ATX Open in Austin, Texas, where she entered the main draw after winning two matches in qualifying. She then lost in her opening-round match against American player Peyton Stearns.
Meanwhile, De Minaur won his maiden ATP 500 title at the Mexican Open, beating the likes of Taro Daniel, Holger Rune, and Paul en route to the title. It is the seventh ATP singles title of the World No. 22's career.

Sharing his thoughts right after beating Tommy Paul 3-6, 6-4, 6-1, Alex de Minaur reflected on the hard work he has put in over the years and was thrilled to see it translate into such a big success. The 24-year-old wants to carry the momentum into two very big tournaments coming up this month - the Indian Wells Masters and the Miami Open.
"It feels great, it feels amazing," Alex De Minaur said in an interview moments after the final, as per the ATP. "I know the hard work that's put in to be here and it's good to see the results.
"It's not always that you win the tournament and you get to finish a week unbeaten, so I'll definitely cherish this going into Indian Wells and Miami."
Courtesy of his win, De Minaur will break back into the top 20 of the ATP rankings on Monday at No. 18, just three spots short of his career-high ranking of No. 15. De Minaur reached the Round of 16 in Indian Wells and the Round of 32 in Miami last season.
