Victoria Azarenka recently took part in the official Gala dinner of Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2023, where the Belarusian engaged in a fun photo shoot session on the 360 degree rotating spin cam.
Azarenka will be back in action after her impressive run at the 2023 Australian Open this week when she locks horns with Turkey's Ipek Oz in the first round of the Qatar Open on Monday. Before the tournament's commencement, players, sponsors and other special guests assembled at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Doha on Sunday night.
The World No. 17 stepped up on the rotating spin cam during the event and later shared her experience shooting in it on social media. She revealed that the rotating camera made her feel "dizzy."
"This made me so dizzy," Azarenka wrote on her Instagram stories.
Azarenka will take part in women's doubles as well at the Qatar Open. She will pair up with Belgian Elise Mertens and will face third seed Demi Schuurs and Desirae Krawczyk in the first round on Tuesday.
Apart from Azarenka, several other top WTA players are part of the WTA 500 tournament. World No. 1 Iga Swiatek is the reigning champion and will be looking forward to defending her title. Jessica Pegula, Caroline Garcia, Coco Gauff, and Maria Sakkari are also among the list of strong contenders at the Qatar Open.

Meanwhile, former tennis player Ipek Senoglu recently revealed that Victoria Azarenka has been putting in consistent efforts to organize relief campaigns and aid Turkey and Syria amidst the recent earthquake devastation.
On Sunday, a Turkish Twitter user claimed that there would be programs to raise awareness about the issue during Azarenka's first-round match at the Qatar Open.
"As I understand, something will be done in the first round match of İpek Öz & Victoria Azarenka WTA Doha, the match will probably be played tomorrow. It is very valuable for those who do this sport that we are passionate about, to share our pain and to raise awareness for people in need," their tweet read.
Reacting to this tweet, Turkey's Senoglu wrote that the Belarusian has been in contact with her every single day since the tragedy unfolded. She appreciated Azarenka for her efforts in trying to help those affected.
"I would also like to point out that Vika has been in contact with me almost every day since the first day. I won't be able to name the other players, but Vika is trying to organize with all her might," Senoglu wrote.
More than 34,000 people have lost their lives so far since calamity struck Turkey and Syria last Monday. Several countries around the world have responded to the crisis by sending aid in whatever way possible.
