American tennis stars John Isner and Jack Sock engaged in some fun banter on Saturday (March 11). Isner hilariously snubbed Sock's side bump after winning a marathon three-set match against Jean-Julien Rojer and Marcelo Arevalo in their first-round doubles match at the BNP Paribas Open.

Isner and Sock reigned supreme in an epic doubles matchup against third-seeded Dutchman Rojer and Salvadoran Arevalo. The wildcard American pair came out on top with a score of 6 (8)-7, 7-5, 10-7.

Tennis TV shared a video of the moment on Twitter, where Isner hit the winning forehand. Isner and Sock could be seen jumping with joy. Isner proceeded to shake hands with the opponents while Sock, still elated with the win, jumped towards Isner for a side bump but was snubbed.

Sock responded to the video and tagged Isner in the tweet while hoping that his partner would not ignore him during future celebrations.

"Next time @JohnIsner will look at me for the side bump," Sock tweeted.

Isner cheekily responded to Sock's tweet by apologizing to him for missing the celebratory move as he admired the best forehand he had ever hit.

"Lol lol my bad partner was admiring the best fh I’ve ever hit," Isner responded.

The 30-year-old American responded to Mahomes' presence at the match.

In 2021, the American went down to Australia's John Millman in another three-set match.
