Taylor Fritz and his girlfriend Morgan Riddle have a lot on their plate during the on-going Miami Open fortnight. Along with the American tennis star’s participation at the tournament, the duo are also moving into their new condo in the Floridian city.

Amidst the hubbub of the Masters 1000 tournament, Taylor Fritz’s influencer girlfriend has been sharing updates of their move to their new home. On Friday, March 24, Morgan Riddle revealed that the couple is also fostering two kittens during their stay in Miami.

“I’ve been a little bit busy,” Fritz’s girlfriend said on her Instagram stories as she showed one of the foster kittens. “Come here – Because of this little girl.”

Riddle further introduced the adorable kitten named Lea and spoke about the other kitten, Wookie, as well.

“This is Lea. Her sister’s name is Wookie. Wookie is in the other room and is quite feral and will not let me touch her, and keeps hissing at me,” she added.

The influencer also shared a sweet video of Taylor Fritz affectionately petting Lea.

“Taylor last night,” she wrote. “This mimics the feeling of a mother licking them,"she added.
“See? This should be like, very calming,” the 25-year-old said in the video.

This isn’t the first time that the couple have expressed their fondness for cats. Morgan Riddle has previously revealed that she regularly fosters felines between their touring schedule, in order to provide them with a safe, temporary home.

Taylor Fritz has had a generally positive season thus far. The player was part of the winning United States team at the United Cup and won his fifth career title at the Delray Beach Open. He also reached a career-high ranking of World No. 5.

However, the American No. 1 tennis player was unsuccessful in his title defense at the recently concluded Indian Wells Masters. He was knocked out of the quarterfinals by Italy’s Jannik Sinner 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

The 25-year-old has now shifted his focus to the Miami Open. He is contesting his first match at the tournament on Friday, March 24. The World No. 10, who received a bye in the opening round of the tournament, will face off against compatriot and wild card entrant Emilio Nava in the Round of 64.

Nava progressed to the second round by defeating fellow American and former Miami Open champion John Isner 7-6(5), 7-6(4) in the opening round.
