Oh my my!! The US Open 2009, will feature the former partners and friends in the Mens Doubles Finals.

Both Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have reached the finals of the last grand slam of the year.

Though it was astraight sets win for the Bhupathi/Knowles it was a tough outing for Paes/Dlouhy as they had to slug it out in 3 sets to win their match against the Bryan Brothers.

Paes and Dlouhy, who lost to the Bryan brothers 6-7(5), 6-7(10) in the title round last year, overcame a late charge by the No 1 seeds to emerge 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(8-6) in a 111-minute encounter on the Arthur Ashe court, while third seeds Bhupathi and Mark Knowles easily beat fifth seeds Max Mirnyi and Andy Ram in the other semi 6-4, 6-2.

Leander was in stupendous form and also showed some deft touches at the net.

He hold on his nerves as a lot of time during the match, Lukas was losing his focus.
