Emma Raducanu will take on Rebecca Sramkova in the second round of the Queens Club Championships in London.

Raducanu has made a hot and cold start to the season. After a third-round exit in Melbourne, she reached the quarterfinals in Miami and the fourth round in Madrid. Despite a spirited performance against Jessica Pegula, the American defeated her in Miami, 4-6, 6-7(3), 6-2.

The Brit entered London after a second-round exit in Paris. She started her campaign with a commanding win against Cristina Bucsa in the first round. Raducanu outfoxed the Spaniard in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Sramkova is constantly improving her game on the main tour. After a second-round exit in Melbourne, she reached the quarterfinals in Merida and the last 16 in Strasbourg. She also reached the third round of the Qatar Open, but lost to Elena Rybakina in straight sets.

Sramkova entered London after a second-round exit in Paris. She started her campaign with a splendid win over Barbora Krejcikova in the first round, 6-4, 6-3. Sramkova won 63% of her first serve points and saved four break points in the last round.

Emma Raducanu looks confident on the court after a quarterfinal run in Miami. She will need such results on a regular basis to raise her level on tour. The Brit has the ingredients to become a top player and could have a strong season on grass.

Sramkova, meanwhile, stunned the reigning Wimbledon champion Krejcikova in the first round. The Czech might lack match fitness, but it is still a brilliant result on the main tour. She likes to play an aggressive brand of tennis and has an expressive demeanor on the court.

Considering their record on grass and experience at the highest level, Raducanu will be a clear favourite to come out on top. The Brit hardly broke a sweat in the first round and shouldn't have too many problems dealing with Sramkova in the second.
