Roger Federer visits children's hospital ahead of Gerry Weber Open in Halle

Roger Federer donated € 10,000 to Bethel children’s hospital

Roger Federer took time off from his practice session Monday and visited the Bethel children’s hospital near Bielefeld.

He spent time with young kids and donated € 10,000 to help build a kitchen for children with eating disorders in the ‘Roger Federer Living room’.

The children's cancer clinic has four other treatment rooms named after Michael Kohlmann, Alexander Waske, Mischa Zverev and Marco Chiudinelli, who also made visits in recent years.

Roger Federer is the defending champion at Halle.
