Petra Kvitova:(on playing with a virus in her loss to Alison Riske)“Unfortunately I was lying in the bed yesterday and I had a fever, so I didn’t come to site yesterday. Yeah, I mean, my body didn’t help me today to move little bit. So unfortunately I tried to play, tried to fight. But, yeah, my body wouldn’t let me to fight.”
Simona Halep:(on her win over Maria Kirilenko)“Yeah. It was the best match ever for me. I played incredible today. No mistakes. Before the match I wanted to be more aggressive on court, and I did very well. She is a great player, top player. I just wanted to enjoy the match and to try my best.”
