Maria Sharapova is in Sochi in her capacity as a cultural ambassador for the Winter Olympics.
While she was in the city, Sharapova returned to the the place where it all began for a Nike campaign called “Maria’s Court”.
Sharapova spoke about her early years in tennis, her memories of the wall against which she hit her first tennis ball and what she makes of the 2014 season so far.
Maria will reopen the court for kids Tennis academy after refurbishment that includes a tennis wall telling the story of Maria’s career.
