Maria Sharapova was a visibly happy woman in a latest video uploaded by Porsche. And why wouldn’t she be? In the video, the gorgeous Russian was driven to the pre-Wimbledon party in a very special Porsche supercar which is their latest breath-taking model. The car was the stunning Porsche 918 Spyder and as if that was not enough, she had an exceptional chauffeur at her service. It was pretty much one of her many lucky days, but this was special as she was driven to the party by none other than Porsche man Mark Webber. The video shows the Australian driving Sharapova across the streets of London and talking about the features of the exquisite hybrid car. He pointed out that the car packs exceptiontal power and it’s a joy to drive it.
On being asked by the reporters, Sharapova said that she enjoyed the experience as it was the first time she had driven (or been driven) in a hybrid in London. She also said that it was fun coming to the pre-Wimbledon party as it was a special occasion and it was always nice to come to Wimbledon after Paris and enjoy the switch to grass court. She also said that she doesn’t remember making an entrance like this to any party before, and it was indeed very special driving in the Porsche 918 Spyder which was nothing less than a thrilling experience.Sharapova faces Angelique Kerber in the fourth round on Tuesday.
