Rafael Nadal was drawn against Alexander Zverev in the first round of the French Open, which he lost in straight sets. The 38-year-old then turned his attention to the Olympics but ended up losing to Novak Djokovic in the second round in Paris. This was also the first time in the last 22 years that Nadal failed to win even a single Grand Slam match during the year. These underwhelming performances have raised doubts over Nadal's immediate future and the Spaniard was asked about it after his Olympic exit.
