WTA Indian Wells - Mirza and Vesnina go down in the final

Indo-Russian duo Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina came one win short of defending their title at Indian Wells on Saturday night going down to the top ranked duo of Lisa Raymond and Liezel Huber.

Huber and Raymond were in commanding form, winning 6-2, 6-3 in just over an hour four their fourth title of the season. The American duo have now won their last 16 matches, since losing to Mirza and Vesnina in the Australian Open.

Both teams will now head to Miami for the Sony Ericsson Open where they will be the favourites in the draw once again.
