Beyond the Gates weekly update (June 2 to 6, 2025): Anita breaks down, while Hayley confirms her pregnancy 

This past week on the daytime soap opera Beyond the Gates was filled with twists and turns. While Anita's reunion with her former bandmate, Sharon, didn't go as planned, Hayley shared her pregnancy news with the people of Fairmont Crest. On the other hand, Kat found some evidence that could put Leslie Dana in some serious trouble.

Beyond the Gates is CBS’s new daytime soap opera that premiered on February 24, 2025. Created by Michele Val Jean, it follows the wealthy, multi-generational Dupree family living in an upscale, predominantly Black gated community near Washington, D.C. As the first daytime soap with a predominantly Black cast since 1989, it revives the genre with family drama, secrets, romance, and cultural themes representation.

Anita's surprise visitor on Beyond the Gates

The week on Beyond the Gates began with the Dupree estate having a guest named Sharon. Sharon was Anita's bandmate in her all-girl band named The Articulettes. However, Anita left the band to become a solo performer, which hurt the other two band members, Tracy and Sharon. Sharon blames Anita for breaking the group for personal gain.

She revealed that she, too, got opportunities to perform as a solo artist, but her girl band was her priority. She also blamed Anita for defaming her publicly, along with Dante, and accusing Sharon of using drugs, which led to her downfall. However, Anita denies all the allegations made by Sharon.

Further, it is discovered that the Articulettes had a fourth member as well. Anita was sad after Sharon had blamed her and took a journey down memory lane. There she holds a letter by the fourth member of the group, written to Dante, which made her cry. Later, she shares the story of the fourth person of the group who found the band, Barbara.

However, table turns when she reveals that she was the reason behind Barbara's death. She expresses that she gave a handsome amount of money to the family, but she still felt guilty for being the reason behind someone's death.

Further, on Beyond the Gates at Orphey Gene's, Tracy and Sharon discussed their mutual feelings towards the betrayal, as Anita first left the band, and later she also canceled the reunion.

The two of them decided to confront Anita at the Dupree Mansion. However, the badmates shared an awkward moment while discussing the band, Anita reminded the band is in the grave just like Barbara, and politely sees them off.

Hayley gives Dani proof of her pregnancy on Beyond the Gates

Elsewhere, on Beyond the Gates, Dani has been accusing Hayley of faking her pregnancy to trap Bill. However, Bill confronted his ex-wife not to bother his current wife about the same. Hayley marched into Dani's apartment with a positive test to stop her baseless accusations.

Meanwhile, Hayley shared moments with her former best friend and current stepdaughter, Naomi, as the two learned about Bill's neurological issue at Garland Memorial Hospital. He was under the care of Dr. Madison Montgomery. Upon seeing Madison and not recognizing Chelsea, Naomi's suspicion grew, especially since Chelsea had a prior romantic entanglement with Madison.

Kat finds evidence against Leslie on Beyond the Gates

Kat is on a mission to uncover Leslie's connection to Laura's accident. She first meets with Mona and then heads to the station to speak with Jacob. There, she learnt that the individual responsible for Laura’s hit-and-run matched Leslie’s build.

However, Leslie also went to the station to issue a restraining warrant against Kat, leading to suspicion.

Kat further broke into Eva's hotel room in search of evidence. However, she promised Jacob she wouldn't interfere with the case, but decided otherwise.

Anyhow, her plan had to be put on hold after she overheard Eva coming in, and with her came Tomas, which made Kat suspicious. However, she was successful in her mission and found a bag with a pair of gloves and a helmet that could potentially link Leslie to Laura's hit-and-run.
