Mariah’s dark memory resurfaces
Sharon Newman on The Young and the Restless could tell something was really bothering Mariah and gently tried to get her to talk. She asked if Mariah had made a mistake on her trip, maybe a one-night stand, but Mariah said it was “so much worse.”
Mariah admitted she’d confess to Tessa if it were that simple, but this felt too painful to even name. She turned down Sharon’s offer to see a therapist, saying that talking to a stranger started the whole mess. Sharon gave her a hug and promised to be there when she was ready.
Later, Mariah walked through the park and remembered a troubling moment from her trip. After drinking a lot at a hotel bar, a creepy older man came up and said she looked like she needed a friend. The memory left her clearly shaken.
Tessa opens up to Daniel
While Mariah kept her pain bottled up, Tessa Porter shared her own feelings with Daniel Romalotti Jr. during a guitar lesson. She said Mariah had been crying at night and couldn’t sleep, and it left her feeling helpless.
Daniel comforted her, and Tessa got emotional too. Writing music helped her cope, and she admitted she needed these lessons as much as he did.
Later in the park on The Young and the Restless, Tessa saw Mariah and played part of their new song. Mariah was clearly touched, and even though she stayed quiet, the music hit home. Tessa gently encouraged her to talk, not knowing Mariah had just remembered something traumatic.
Phyllis provokes Sally and forces her way to France
At the GCAC on The Young and the Restless, Phyllis Summers picked a fight with Sally Spectra while Billy Abbott stepped away. Their small talk turned into a heated argument, with Phyllis clearly enjoying the drama. Sally held her ground and let Phyllis know she wasn’t scared.
When Billy came back, he led Sally to a table and brought up the Dumas launch in Nice. Sally agreed to delay it but warned Billy not to make risky moves, especially against Chancellor.
Phyllis, still stirring trouble, texted Amanda Sinclair to get into the Dumas party. After some pushing, Amanda confirmed Phyllis was on the guest list. Phyllis bragged about it while Billy and Sally watched with concern. They felt the event was getting out of control, but decided not to let Phyllis ruin their plans.
Victoria’s growing fears for Cole
At the Newman ranch on The Young and the Restless, Victoria told Nikki and Nick she was worried about Cole Howard. His odd behavior and the tension with Dumas made her think twice about going to the party.
Nick and Nikki agreed it was best for her to stay home and keep an eye on things while everyone else was focused on the event. Victoria’s choice hinted that something bigger might be coming. Whether Cole was hiding something or just caught up in the drama, it left everyone uneasy.
