American actor Chris Robinson portrayed Rick Webber on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. Robinson tragically died on June 9, 2025, at the age of 86 due to heart failure in his sleep at his ranch near Sedona, Arizona.

According to the storyline of General Hospital, Rick Webber was introduced in the daytime drama as a professional doctor. Dr. Richard "Rick" Webber was the son of Helene Webber and the late Lars Webber. He was the older half-brother of Dr. Jeff Webber and Terri Arnett.

Rick's character was initially portrayed by Michael Gregory from 1976 to 1978. Later, Chris Robinson took over the role and played it from 1978 to 1986, and again in 2002 and 2013.

After Lesley's presumed death in 1984, Rick married Mikey's biological mother, Ginny. Together, Rick and Ginny had a child named Rick Webber Jr. Rick accepted a job at New York General Hospital, and they decided to move to New York City on November 26, 1986.

Later, in the storyline of General Hospital, Rick was murdered by Scott Baldwin on August 9, 2002. He returned to Port Charles one last time on April 2, 2013, as a ghost to Monica and Tracy Quartermaine. During this visit, Rick aimed to make peace with Alan after several years. He also tried to encourage Monica and Tracy to do the same by forgiving Alan.
