Class of 2026 prospect Addison Bjorn was at OTE Arena in Atlanta on Saturday for the Overtime Select Army National Guard game. It pitted Team JuJu, coached by USC star JuJu Watkins, against Team Flau'jae, coached by LSU star Flau'jae Johnson. Bjorn played for Team JuJu, which won 3-1.

Oliviyah Edwards, a five-star power forward in the Class of 2026, served as an assistant coach for Team Juju, although she played for Team Flau’jae last year. The South Carolina target celebrated the team's victory on Instagram, and Bjorn reacted to it.

"Yeaa coach," Bjorn commented.

The games between Team Juju and Team Flau'jae were a series of five-on-five matchups. Each coach also had high school stars serving as their assistants, including Edwards.

Team Flau'jae rallied late in the final game and tried to tie the series; however, Team JuJu held on. Team JuJu was caught up in an incident at the Arena before tip-off, as several players were stuck in an elevator.

The two coaches taunted each other, and Johnson got into an argument with a referee a few times. Johnson also coached last year's Army National Guard game, with UConn's Paige Bueckers coaching Team Paige, which won the series.

Addison Bjorn played with boys when she was growing up

Addison Bjorn, a five-star prospect from Kansas City, was featured in an article in April by ABC affiliate channel, KMBC News. Her parents, Karie and Darren Bjorn, revealed that she started playing basketball when she was four and only played with boys growing up.

"They were all boys except Addison," Karie said. "And some of the moms were like, 'Oh my gosh, there's a girl on the team.' And I always thought, just give her a minute. She's going to be running circles around these boys."

Addison admitted that it made her game better.

"I think that's when it really hit me that, like all the preparing with playing with (her brother) Carson and how they're bigger, stronger, faster," Addison said. "It kind of made me, like, a step faster than all the girls."

Addison has a lot of programs trying to secure her commitment. In January, she narrowed down her choices to UCLA, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Kansas State, Duke, North Carolina, UCONN, Stanford, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Iowa State, Louisville and Notre Dame.
