On Sunday, May 19, Korean media outlet Ten Asia revealed that they inquired BigHit Music about the recently resurfaced dating rumors between BTS' Jimin and Song Da-eun. However, the media outlet reported that the agency chose to remain silent about the issue. They neither confirmed nor denied the speculations that have been floating around the internet.
The dating rumor between Jimin and Song Da-eun has been going on for about two years now. However, recently, the actress' posts on social media allegedly hinting at her relationship with the BTS singer have revived the same. She previously denied rumors around the topic back in 2022, when the speculation first landed on the internet.

However, her recent posts have left fans to revive the rumors. With BigHit Music neither confirming nor denying these speculations, netizens have been all the more perplexed about the legitimacy of the dating scandal. However, given that Jimin is currently in the military for his mandatory enlistment, fans think that his inability to speak on the issue has restricted the agency's statement.
BigHit Music fails to respond to the ongoing dating rumors between BTS' Jimin and the South Korean actress, Song Da-eun
In 2022, a few speculations amongst netizens on the Korean community platform, Pann Nate that BTS' Jimin and the South Korean actress might be dating. The connection was made by netizens after they found some alleged couple items, such as earrings, accessories, etc., shared between the two individuals. However, these rumors were soon put to rest after Song Da-eun responded to them.

She said that she and the K-pop idol are not romantically involved and also warned netizens that she'd be taking legal action against those who are spreading malicious and false information against her. While this controversy died down after her clear denial, it recently popped up after Da-eun's recent Instagram stories.
One of her stories involved her covering someone walking across a bridge. People speculated that it was Jimin since a picture with a similar background was taken of the idol by his fellow member, V. Additionally, she was also seen wearing a MIC DROP t-shirt. Since BTS has a song under the same name, it only added to the controversy.
Additionally, the actress also posted a video of a yellow balloon bouncing. The video was cropped, but fans were able to figure out the video was of Jimin's behind-the-scenes look at BTS' photoshoot. Moreover, she also posted a video of her dog playing in an apartment, and fans believe that the apartment looked similar to the one in a BTS documentary.
However, the most controversial one is the actress' post on TikTok. She posted a picture of a matching pair of wireless earphones that had Da-eun and Jimin written on it. Though the post was immediately deleted, it had fans questioning the relationship between the two. Regardless, BigHit Music, the BTS singer's agency, neither confirmed or denied the rumors.
Song Da-eun is a South Korean actress who's appeared in several shows and movies, such as The Golden Spoon, Hold My Hand, The Handmaiden Tale, etc. She was also a part of the reality dating show Heart Signal 2, which aired in 2018.
