On April 17, 2024, BTS Jungkook's song Dreamers took home three honors at the New York Festival TV & Film Awards. The three awards were the TV & Film Awards’ Cinematography (silver), TV & Film Awards 'Sound Design' (silver), and TV & Film Awards 'Camerawork' (bronze). This news was announced by the CEO of one of the production companies (Katara) behind the song, Ahmed Al Baker.

Dreamers was a distinct musical project undertaken by the Jungkook, as it did not fit under the umbrella of K-pop. This song served as the theme song for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Fans were extremely proud of Jungkook during that period due to this unique, opportunistic achievement.

On April 17, BTS’ maknae Jungkook was announced as the winner of three awards under this recognition. Ahmed Al Baker shared a bunch of photos along with audio featuring the song Dreamers on his Instagram stories to let the world know about the song’s achievements. The song currently stands at 218 million views and 5.5 million likes on YouTube.

The TV & Film Awards 'Cinematography' (Silver) award recognizes achievement in cinematography, which refers to the art and technique of capturing moving images on film or digitally. Winning a silver award in this category indicates skill and creativity in framing shots, lighting, camera movement, and overall visual storytelling.

The TV & Film Awards 'Sound Design' (Silver) award honors excellence in the creation and integration of sound elements in television and film productions. It includes everything from dialogue recording and editing to sound effects, music composition, and mixing.

The TV & Film Awards Camerawork Award recognizes excellence in the operation and use of cameras to capture footage for television and film. It acknowledges the camera operator's ability to effectively convey the narrative through visuals.

Dreamers won three awards in total, with one bronze trophy in camera work and two silver trophies in cinematography and sound design. Extending his warm wishes towards the BTS star and his collaborative artist, Ahmed Al Baker expressed:

Given his impact, Jungkook was invited to sing the theme song of the FIFA World Cup 2022 edition. As BTS had announced their group hiatus that year, this became the first project for the BTS maknae as a solo artist. He was even invited to perform at the esteemed opening ceremony of this World Cup, held in Qatar.
