BTS' Jungkook gives his approval to a fan-made AI-generated cover and edits of himself
The latest post of the Still With You singer-songwriter in military attire had been the subject of guffaws among the BTS fandom. The photo allegedly claimed to portray Jungkook, however, failed to do so.
The image showed him with puffy cheeks and facial features which diminished any likelihood of resembling the popular artist in real life. Furthermore, the image also added a few pounds to his body weight.
In April 2024, BTS' youngest member gave a nod to an AI-generated cover of his song Standing Next to You from his debut solo album GOLDEN.
Fans were thrilled to see the singer-songwriter come online after months. Since he enlisted in December 2023, the singer had rarely come online and engaged with fans.
However, the English Jagran news outlet reported that the South Korean musician later removed his "like" from the AI-generated cover of his track. Nevertheless, fans rallied behind the occurrence and took X by storm with hilarious memes.
Standing Next to You is the title track of the BTS idol from his debut solo album that was released on November 3, 2023.
The track Standing Next to You peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Global 200, MENA (IFPI) Chart, and UAE (IFPI) Chart, among other music charts. It also debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
The BTS idol became the first ever Korean soloist to top either of the Billboard charts. Furthermore, he broke PSY's previous record of the most Billboard Hot 100 song entries and the Top 10 hits entries.
