Fans hear Suga's voice for the first time in two years

BTS celebrated their 12th debut anniversary on June 13, 2025. In honor of this milestone, all seven members were spotted together, marking their first public appearance as a complete group since their military enlistment. All six members were seen attending bandmate j-hope's solo encore concert, turning the event into an emotional moment for fans worldwide.

Among them, Suga stood out as the only member still serving, with his official discharge set for June 21, 2025. Due to a previous shoulder injury, he was assigned to public service duties rather than active duty, resulting in a 21-month service period, longer than the standard 18 months.

What made his appearance even more impactful was the fact that he had remained completely out of the spotlight during his enlistment, unlike his bandmates, who occasionally updated fans via Weverse or appeared in livestreams like Jungkook’s. The rapper had kept silent, choosing not to share any personal updates.

Fans last saw him in public during his 2024 legal case related to DUI (driving under the influence), but since then, there has been no direct interaction between him and ARMY.

His unexpected appearance at j-hope's concert, along with his voice message shared during the 2025 FESTA event, stirred strong emotions among the fandom.

In the message, he said:

“Hello, this is SUGA. It feels like it's been so long since I got to greet you. ARMY, have you all been doing well? I've been spending my time waiting for the day I get to see you again. I miss you so much. I love you, everyone.”

The heartfelt message moved fans, many of whom expressed joy and relief at finally hearing the BTS member's voice after such a long time. Now, ARMYs eagerly await his discharge and the official group reunion.

This year, the FESTA celebrations have returned to the offline format; BTS’ FESTA event is being held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The 2025 edition is a two-day, in-person celebration across Halls 9 and 10 of Exhibition Center 2.

With more than 20 themed zones, the venue is buzzing with fans, emotions, and nostalgia. Now, all that remains is the much-anticipated full group comeback.
