What is the film all about?
The trailer for Freakier Friday was released on June 6, 2025, and is available on the official Disney YouTube channel. The trailer begins with a conversation between Anna, Tess, and Harper as Tess congratulates Anna on a happy wedding week and asks her if she needs any help.
Anna is seen in an anxious state as she needs help with her wedding vows. Anna's daughter, Harper, jokingly suggests something for her wedding vows while also showing her disapproval for Anna's soon-to-be daughter, Lily. She also makes fun of Lily's accent in a scene after the conversation.
Anna, Tess, Harper, and Lily all end up swapping bodies with each other after meeting a fortune teller at Anna's bachelorette party. Lily ends up in Tess's body and vice versa, while Harper ends up in Anna's body and vice versa.
Taking advantage of being in their bodies, Harper and Lily decide to break Eric and Anna's marriage since they both don't want to be a part of each other's family.
Lily suggests to Harper that she should reunite Anna with her first love, but the attempt fails miserably. The trailer then shows multiple scenes from the upcoming fantasy comedy film and ends by disclosing the premiere date to the audience.
