“I didn’t want to do all of that": Diddy's ex-lover allegedly stopped texting him for 13 days after rapper lied to her on her birthday

Diddy’s ex-lover Jane recently testified on June 6, 2025, that she did not communicate with the rapper through text messages on one particular occasion. Notably, Jane has been opening up about the relationship she shared with Sean “Diddy” Combs after the duo began dating in 2020.

CNN shared the latest updates from the trial, which says that prosecutor Maurene Comey was reviewing the alleged text messages shared between Jane and Sean. The messages date back to the witness’s birthday around 2 years ago, where Jane reportedly told Combs that she felt used after a "hotel night."

Jane allegedly did not respond to Sean for almost 13 days following a lengthy conversation where Combs told Jane that he had done everything she asked for and added:

“We’ll miss each other.”

Jane told the court that she initially believed that the rapper was planning something for another individual in Miami. However, Sean denied the same when Jane questioned him, after which she addressed the issue again in a message to Combs. Sean reportedly replied by saying that he did not want to disclose to Jane what he was doing with someone else and added:

“You had your birthday and I didn’t tell her what I was doing with you.”

According to CNN, Jane replied that she felt like she was being used by Sean so that he could stay away for a week. She also allegedly told Diddy that she wanted to do something different with him, adding that she deserves it. Additionally, she wrote in another text that Sean never fulfilled the promise of taking her on vacations, and continued:

“I didn’t want to do all of that on my birthday. You knew how tired I was.”

Sean replied to Jane that they should just become friends and seemingly expressed his dissatisfaction by writing:

“I’m done with you comparing yourself to someone else. I treat you good and if you don’t feel so lets just be friends. I’m tired of these long texts telling me what I’m doing wrong.”

Jane expressed her frustration towards Diddy in a few other messages

According to CNN, Jane’s messages were saved in the Notes app, and she mentioned the same in her testimony, claiming that she used to copy the texts on certain occasions. Jane appeared frustrated in one of the messages, where she reportedly told Sean that he wanted to use her for one night at the hotel before his trip.

The message also read:

“You lied and said you had no time for me because you were stressed with work.”

In one of the phone notes, Jane described Combs as a “pathological liar.” She also wrote in another text that she was waiting for Diddy to fulfill the promises he made to her, such as date nights. Jane wrote that Sean hurt her feelings every time he rejected her.

As per CNN, Jane reportedly wrote in the notes that Diddy always preferred the hotel nights, following which both of them became tired. Therefore, they could not spend time together. Jane said in a note that she did not want to do drugs, as she wrote:

“I’m sorry I don’t want to do drugs for days and days and have you use me to fulfill your freaky wild desires in hotel rooms.”

Jane alleged in one of the notes that she had to clean everything after certain nights and that she did not feel good being around Diddy. Jane reportedly mentioned in another note that Combs used to be in touch with other women when she and Sean were romantically linked.

Jane’s identity is currently known to the jury. As per an update from CNN, the witness’s lawyer, Lindsay Lewis, has approached the judge to take certain steps so that Jane's details are not revealed to anyone.
