About Megan and KATSEYE

Megan, born February 10, 2006, in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, is not only a singer and dancer but also a model. She gained fame through HYBE and Geffen Records' survival show The Debut: Dream Academy, which formed the group KATSEYE in 2023. During the same livestream, she also opened up about living with dyslexia and psoriasis, making her vulnerability more resonant with fans.

Her coming out follows a slow but growing wave of LGBTQ+ visibility within the K-pop space, a sphere where public declarations of queerness are still rare.
