Kendrick Lamar is in the middle of his ongoing Grand National Tour with SZA and is set to perform in Toronto on two dates: June 12 and June 13. Meanwhile, on June 9, a screengrab of a certain post went viral on social media.
The screengrab suggested another post seemingly uploaded on Instagram, in which the caption urged Drake fans in the city to come with speakers outside Rogers Center on June 12 and 13. The caption further read that they would be playing classic tracks by Drake on the aforementioned dates.
The post further suggested that people could get signs showing love to Drizzy. Meanwhile, this post gained massive traction online. Many netizens did not seem very impressed with the plan. One user wrote on X:
"LMAO for what exactly? What do they gain from this?"
Many even questioned the need for doing this, while others called it "embarrassing."
"This is so embarrassing for Drake because what?" another user tweeted.
"They are embarrassing," added a tweet.
"So they think parking lot pimpin will make more noise than a Stadium show," wrote a netizen.
The platform has been filled with similar comments, with people mocking the fans who originally uploaded the post.

DJ Mustard is set to open the set at Kendrick Lamar's concert in Toronto this week
In April 2025, Uproxx reported that DJ Mustard would be a part of the ongoing tour of Kendrick Lamar. Mustard was set to open the shows of the tour. Mustard reportedly gained popularity after he produced Kendrick's most famous diss track, Not Like Us, during the rapper's beef with Drake last year.
DJ Mustard was also included in Lamar's music videos as well as his Super Bowl performance in February 2025. The announcement that Mustard would be a part of the ongoing tour was made through an Instagram post by the producer. The caption of the post read:
"I'm joining Kendrick Lamar and SZA on the Grand National Tour. Had to look out for my fans. Cash App Card Holders have exclusive access to purchase newly released tickets on the floor."
At the time, many reacted to the post and expressed their excitement. As for Kendrick Lamar's ongoing concert tour, the next show is set to be held on June 10 in Detroit.
Kendrick, along with SZA, has already covered a number of cities, including Minneapolis, Houston, Atlanta, East Rutherford, Glendale, San Francisco, and Philadelphia, to name a few. After the upcoming shows in Toronto, Kendrick and SZA are set to move to European countries. This list included Germany, Scotland, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, and Sweden.
The tour is set to conclude on August 9, 2025, with the final show scheduled to be held in Stockholm.
