Details to know about Drake's luxurious private jet "Air Drake"

Several Hollywood celebrities own private jets. The list includes Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, Tom Cruise, Celine Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Jackie Chan, John Travolta, and Kylie Jenner. Canadian rapper Drake became the owner of a premium jet last year after he came in partnership with CargoJet.

The rapper got a jet that can accommodate about 30 people. Interior has plush sofas along with comfortable chairs. The custom paint job of the aircraft was designed by the late designer Virgil Abloh. According to an article published by Page Six in February 2024, Cargojet’s president and CEO, Ajay Virmani, said,

"We have had a lengthy relationship with Drake and this partnership has grown organically between both parties. Cargojet and Drake are both great Canadian successes, we are thrilled to be partnering together.”

The Jet has been designed with three premium private suites along with two living rooms with a bathroom designed with a shower facility as well. The interiors were designed in a combination of gold and wood surfaces.

Drake's brand logo was put on the tail of the aircraft. The side of the wings read "AIR DRAKE" and the jet's belly had the phrase "IF YOU’RE READING THIS WE LEFT" written on it. This seemed to be a reference to the rapper's 2015 mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.

The Canadian Cargo airline had previously worked with Drake, where they transported equipment to be used in his tours. As per Simple Flying, the rapper spoke about its partnership with the cargo airline, and said,

"Supporting homegrown businesses has always been a top priority of mine, so when an opportunity came up to get involved with CargoJet, a great Canadian company, I was honored to do so."

In the viral photos of the jet, the original phrase in the aircraft's belly seemed to have been changed, which further garnered fans' attention.
