On Wednesday, the Montreal Canadiens will look to snap a two-game skid when they face off with the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road. The game will mark their first of three straight games on the road, with a streaking Blue Jackets team eager to build on a three-game win streak.

Heading into the game, the Habs are sitting in last place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 7-11-3, two points behind the Ottawa Senators. On the flip side, the Blue Jackets are sitting in second to last place in the Metropolitan Division with a record of 9-9-2, just one point out of fifth place.

Ahead of the game, the Canadiens have Rafael Harvey-Pinard, Patrik Laine and Dvaid Reinbacher on the injured reserve list.

In addition, Mike Matheson's status is up in the air after missing Tuesday's game against Utah. While he is traveling with the team, the Canadiens have yet to announce whether he'll be in action tonight.

Looking at the odds for tonight's Canadiens vs Blue Jackets game, as well as upcoming games on the Habs' schedule

Heading into the game, the Blue Jackets are sitting as slight, but comfortable, betting favorites. On DraftKings, Columbus is a -185 favorite, while on the flip side, the Canadiens are +154 underdogs.

Meanwhile, on FanDuel, the Habs are +146 underdogs, while Columbus is a -178 favorite. To simplify these numbers, a $178 bet on the Blue Jackets as the favorites would win $100 whereas a $100 bet on the Canadiens as the underdogs would win $146.

Following Wednesday's road game, the Canadiens will be back in action on Saturday to play the New York Rangers as part of the first leg of a back-to-back that will then see them play the Boston Bruins on Sunday.

From there, the team will return home for a five-game stretch, playing the Islanders on Tuesday, the Predators on Thursday and the Capitals on Saturday.
