"Another year of muting soundtrack & commentators": Chel fans displeased by NHL 25 soundtrack

EA Sports revealed the soundtrack for the upcoming NHL 25 video game, featuring 42 songs from popular rock, hip-hop, and pop artists.

NHL 25 soundtrack list features ‘One Eyed Bastard’ from Green Day, ‘Eyes Closed’ from Imagine Dragons, ‘My Condition’ from Dead Poet Society and more.

However, some fans are less than pleased with the musical selections of NHL 25 soundtrack.

On social media, fans voiced their criticisms, with one tweeting

"Another year of muting soundtrack & commentators."

Another fan suggested,

"make the ability to browse the soundtrack and toggle songs an option!!"

"Some solid bands on here this year. Always hilarious seeing people whine about bands they’ve never heard of and saying they suck." one fan wrote on X.

"Cool, I have Apple Music which has over a million songs. Spotify is also linked to my console. How about FIX YOUR GAME?" another fan wrote.

"Bring back the days when we used to have good rock tunes like Nickelback and Thousands Foot Krutch, you know the stuff that gets played at hockey games between puck drops." a user commented.

"I find the music always sucks in game through a TV but run the playlist on a real speaker like in a car or something and suddenly half of them aren't that bad lol" another user wrote.

As NHL 25 approaches its early access date on Sept. 27, followed by the full release on Oct. 4.
