They lived in Kelowna, British Columbia, during the off-season. They decided to marry on August 24, 2013, in Benton City, Washington, near Angela's hometown of Kennewick. On October 21, 2015, Angela Price announced on her blog that they were expecting their first child the following spring.

Carey Price's NHL career

Carey Price looked right at home in front of the MGM Grand Hotel's red 2015 NHL Awards backdrop, which has previously hosted Barbra Streisand, Cirque du Soleil, and illusionist David Copperfield. No one in hockey can compete with him as a headliner.

Price won the Hart Trophy, Vezina Trophy, and Ted Lindsay Trophy that night, becoming the first goaltender to do so since Dominik Hasek in 1998, and shared the William H. Jennings Trophy with Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jerry Price, Price's father, was a Philadelphia Flyers eighth-round draft pick (No. 126) in 1978. Despite never making it to the NHL, Jerry Price played professionally and worked as a goaltending consultant with the Tri-City of the Western Hockey League.

Price played for Tri-City for five years after entering the junior ranks in 2002, with his Patrick Roy-inspired, butterfly style in the net, before his father worked with the team's goalies. In 2007, Price was named WHL Goaltender of the Year, and in 2008, he was named Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Year.

Price also helped Hamilton of the American Hockey League win the Calder Cup in 2007 and was named playoff MVP. Price, the Canadiens' fifth-round pick in the 2005 NHL Draft, joined the team in the 2007-2008 season and went 24-12-3 in 41 games.

Price, who had already won the World Junior Championship in 2007, helped Canada win an Olympic gold medal in Sochi in 2014, going 5-0 with a .59 goals-against average and .972 save percentage. It was just a warmup for his 2014-15 NHL season, one of the best in goaltending history. Price finished with 44 victories, a 1.96 GAA, and a.933 save percentage.

Carey Price was the Canadiens' sixth winner of the award and first since forward Max Pacioretty in 2011-12. He was the first goaltender to do so since Robin Lehner of the New York Islanders in 2018-19.
