Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers game away with a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory over the Florida Panthers in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final. McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle and partners of several other Oilers players linked up at her luxury bar in Edmonton to watch the game together.
The first story Lauren reposted showed the group of ladies in custom Oilers fangear from Lauren’s sports apparel brand ‘Sports Club Atelier’. The group including Leon Draisaitl’s fiancee Celeste Desjardins and Zach Hyman’s wife Alannah gathered around a table, standing and cheering
The second story featured a wine wall lit in blue and orange lights, with the caption:
“@bartroveca Go Oilers baby.”

Another short clip saw the group watching a projector screen labeled “Victory Club,” with several ladies taking selfies and celebrating with drinks.
Celeste Desjardins also shared a few stories on her own Instagram account. In one of the stories, the group was seen cheering in front of the projector screen just as the Oilers secured the overtime win. The ladies stood around tables with drinks, clapping and reacting as the winning play rolled on the screen.

The second story showed a close-up of the screen displaying the live broadcast. In her final story, Celeste tagged all the partners of the Oilers players present at the celebration, singing, filming and raising their hands and filling the space with cheers.
Leon Draisaitl reflects on OT win in Game 4
Leon Draisaitl led the Oilers to the dramatic 5-4 OT win against the Panthers on the noight. After trailing 3-0 in the first period, the Oilers fought back with goals from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Darnell Nurse, Vasily Podkolzin and Jake Walman to tie the game.
Draisaitl scored the decisive overtime goal just past the midway point, leveling the series at two games each. In the post-game interview, Leon Draisaitl mentioned that the Oilers showed great resilience and did not give up despite falling behind early.
"That's what we do. We're a resilient group, and we're never going to quit, no matter what.We'll take it and go home," he said.
He also explained their first period was below their expectations but they gradually found their rhythm as the game went on.
"Our first (period) wasn’t what we wanted, and then we started to get our legs, and we started to get going a little bit. That’s the intensity that we have to play with when the puck drops," Draisaitl added.
The Oilers superstar mentioned that the team stayed calm, focused on their game plan and trusted their style of play to come back strong.
