Habs forward Patrik Laine and his fiancee Jordan Leigh were at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve during the qualifying rounds of the Canadian Grand Prix on Saturday. There Laine met up with fellow Finnish national and Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas.
Patrik Laine shared a series of stories from their race day experience on his Instagram. One of the clicks featured the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve with the Canadian and checkered flags flying above the main straight.
Another picture showed Laine posing with Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas outside the team garages.In another story, Laine shared a short clip with a behind-the-scenes look inside the Aston Martin garage where the team members were actively working on the car.

During the qualifying round, George Russell took pole position with a lap time of 1:10.899, just ahead of Max Verstappen. Oscar Piastri qualified third, followed by Lewis Hamilton in fourth and Fernando Alonso in fifth.
Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc ended up sixth and seventh after struggling in Q3. Isack Hadjar and Alex Albon completed the top 10, though Hadjar dropped three places due to a penalty. Yuki Tsunoda qualified 11th but will start from the back after a 10-place grid penalty.
Patrik Laine and Jordan Leigh attended VIP events in Montreal
Earlier this week, Habs forward Patrik Laine and his fiancee Jordan Leigh attended two high-profile events in Montreal prior to the Canadian Grand Prix weekend.
On Thursday, the couple was at a VIP fashion show titled “La Rosa Nera” held at Palma restaurant. The show featured designer Angie Larocque’s collection previously shown at Paris Fashion Week.
Jordan Leigh wore a white one-shoulder dress with sparkly cutouts and strappy heels, while Laine wore a cream-striped shirt, white pants, and yellow-accented sneakers to the event. Jordan posted several Instagram stories from the evening including a shirt clip of a model at the show and a red carpet photo of the couple with friends.

On Friday, Laine and Leigh attended the Ritz Royale Gala at The Ritz-Carlton in Montreal. The black-tie event included fine food, champagne, live performances and luxury brand displays. Jordan wore a black gown and Laine wore a violet-patterned suit jacket on the occasion.

Jordan later shared a celebrity cam photo which saw her posing with makeup artist Claudia Vitorino, while Laine stood beside them in sunglasses and a purple bowtie. Another photo showed them posing with Nadia Saputo who wore an ornate gown and tiara. Part of the proceeds from the Ritz Royale Gala went to the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation which supports mental health awareness in Canada.
