The Senators have been linked with the Coyotes for quite some time for the services of Jakob Chychrun. Friedman also stated that the "Sens" again held talks with the Coyotes regarding Jakob. However, Jakob's price tag is too high for the Ottawa Senators to get involved in a trade.

However, there is still the possibility of getting the Jakob deal done. If the Coyotes decide to lower their asking price, there is a possibility that the Senators will once again engage in trade talks.
