Nebraska Volleyball players Harper Murray, Bergen Reilly, and Andi Jackson reacted as Maisie Boesiger's sister, Malorie, committed to the Huskers for a collegiate volleyball career. The libero's sister became the first 2027 commit in the program.
While Maisie Boesiger made waves as a Nebraska Husker, her sister was one of the promising setters of the Norris High School. She is ranked No. 35 overall from PrepDig and No. 14 overall in Prep volleyball. She was a finalist for Freshman of the Year in Prep Volleyball and made the Nebraska All-State and EMC All-Conference teams.
In a recent Instagram post, Nebraska Volleyball's recruit for the 2027 class announced the big news, expressing gratitude to God, her family, her teammates, and coaches.
She wrote:
"I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska to further my academic and volleyball career!!! First, I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to play the sport I love and glorify Him. I also want to thank my family for all the support and love they’ve given me. Thank you to my coaches and teammates that have pushed me to get better. Finally, I want to give a B1G thank you to Coach Dani, Coach Jaylen, Coach Kelly, and Coach Brennan for the incredible opportunity to live out my dream. I’m staying home!!! GO BIG RED"

Jackson, the junior middle blocker of the Huskers, wrote:

Harper Murray also showed love with a red heart emoji, and Bergen Reilly's excited comment read:

Rebekah Allick, a senior middle blocker, also joined their likes to write:

Maisie Boesiger graduated from Nebraska this year after playing as a libero for four years. She even witnessed a major coaching change as John Cook stepped down to hand over the role to Dani Busboom Kelly.

Boesiger began this year with the beach season, earning 22 consecutive wins with the Nebraska Volleyball team. She was then seen in action in the spring exhibition matches, recording wins against Kansas and South Dakota. The same month, she attended her graduation ceremony, where her sister Malorie was also present to support the libero.
Malorie shared a story with her graduating sister and wrote:

Nebraska Volleyball's Maisie Boesiger made the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for four consecutive years.
