Jordan Chiles spotted with World Championships medalist skier Lauren Macuga at Cannes Sport Beach

Two-time Olympic medalist, Jordan Chiles, recently attended Stagwell’s annual Cannes Sport Beach festival. The notable artistic gymnast was spotted with competitive alpine skiers, World Championships medalist Lauren Macuga and her sister, Alli Macuga, at the festival.

Chiles was invited for the third annual festival, along with other Olympians such as Tara Davis-Woodhall, Hunter Woodhall, Ilona Maher and Noah Lyles. This year's lineup also features basketball legends and other athletic stars from multiple sports categories. Chiles was also featured in the 2025 SI Swimsuit Issue and walked in their runway show in Miami.

She has successfully wrapped her 2025 collegiate season with the UCLA Bruins. The artistic gymnast assisted her team to a second-place finish at the NCAA women's gymnastics tournament, won the individual NCAA title in the uneven bars, and received five Big Ten Gymnast of the Week Awards.

The 2025 Saalbach World Championship medalist, Lauren Macuga and her younger sister, Alli Macuga, were also attending the festival. Through their Instagram story, the Stifel US Ski Team shared a picture which featured Jordan Chiles standing with Lauren and Alli Macuga. They mentioned:

Lauren Macuga is a talented alpine skier who specialises in events of downhill and super-G. She won a bronze medal at the 2022 Junior World Championships in the downhill event. Her younger sibling, Alli Macuga, is a rising star who posted personal best scores in the 2023-2024 season and clinched two podium finishes, concluding her season with a fifth-place world ranking.

Jordan Chiles reflects on the empowering message behind her journey in her memoir

Jordan Chiles released her memoir, 'I'm That Girl: Living the Power of My Dreams' on March 4, 2025. The book details her journey as a black athlete and her life challenges. During her interview with WNBA legend Candace Parker on March 19, 2025, Chiles expressed her thoughts on the empowering message behind her memoir. She said (via the Bleacher report 11:38 onwards):

"I'm that girl just means I can look myself in the mirror and be like, okay, I've gone through a lot of stuff in my life, I've gone through trauma. I was verbally and emotionally abused by my coach. I was doing all these things but yet those things only made me stronger."

She continued:

"So really, it's to show everybody that no matter what you go through and what you have to sacrifice, you're going to be able to come out of that and be stronger than what you thought and I'm just happy that now my story is out."
