Megyn Kelly recently shared her response to everything that has happened at Diddy’s trial so far. In a video shared through her YouTube channel on June 11, 2025, Megyn Kelly referred to the person who provided the assault footage featuring Sean “Diddy” Combs and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura to CNN last year.
The video was allegedly recorded at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles in 2016. Megyn Kelly described the anonymous individual as a “man of honor” for reportedly not accepting any money from Sean for the assault footage. She addressed the same by saying,
“He took out his cell phone and videotaped the security guard tape showing the beating before he left, it was a Friday, for the weekend. He said he wanted to show it to his wife and I’m sure the guy knew there was a very good chance this thing would be disappeared by the time he got back on Monday.”
Megyn claimed that CNN received the video and referred to how it became helpful in Diddy’s trial by saying,
“The reason that we’ve seen it, and the reason this, the prosecution opened its case with it. That video. That’s like the only man of honor, who wouldn’t take the money and videotaped the videotape.”
In the YouTube video, the political commentator also spoke about the allegations against Sean Combs, including the freak-off parties that he reportedly organized over the years. Megyn said that people surrounding the rapper admired him so much that they went back to him every time and added,
“They’s intoxicated by his money and his celebrity. Most of these people come from nothing and were very ripe targets for his power and his money his ability to pay their rent and so on. So they were easy targets, and he knew it.”
Diddy reportedly bribed the security supervisor of the hotel for the assault footage
Eddy Garcia, the security supervisor of the InterContinental Hotel, appeared at Sean Combs’ trial last week. Eddy claimed in his testimony that he allegedly received a bribe worth $100,000 in exchange for the assault footage, as per People magazine.
Eddy told the court that Kristina Khorram, an employee of Diddy, reportedly contacted him for a copy of the hotel video in 2016. While Garcia initially refused to provide anything, he was met by Khorram, and connected Eddy with Sean. However, Garcia told Sean that he cannot enter the room with the server of the video.
According to People magazine, Sean Combs called Garcia for another time, seemingly telling Eddy that he would handle things financially. Garcia then got in touch with his supervisor, who reportedly decided to take $50,000 in exchange for the clip. Garcia, Diddy, and Khorram then met each other at a place in Los Angeles, and Sean was given a USB drive.
Eddy Garcia told the court that he had signed an NDA, which stated that he would be liable for a $1 million penalty if he breached the rules. Sean Combs then arrived with a bag and money counter, and paid $100,000, which was more than the amount reportedly demanded by the supervisor.
Eddy said in his testimony that he believed the extra amount was for him and a colleague. Garcia claimed that he reportedly purchased a used car worth $30,000.
According to the latest updates from the trial shared by CNN, Diddy’s former assistant, Jonathan Perez, began testifying in the case on June 13, 2025. Notably, Sean’s former lover Jane ended her testimony on Thursday, June 12, after speaking at the court since June 5, 2025.
