On June 10, 2025, YouTuber Melanie King shared insights on Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-girlfriend's testimony, identified by the pseudonym Jane, in the rapper's s*x trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial. On June 9, Jane recalled a violent incident from 2024, when Diddy allegedly physically abused her and made her participate in a hotel night.

During her testimony, Jane alleged that on June 18, 2024, she had arranged a date night for Combs at the Los Angeles home. However, the night turned violent when Jane brought up a woman she believed was romantically linked to the rapper. She claimed that she called Combs a "p*dophile" as the woman he was allegedly involved with was 25 to 27 years younger than him, as reported by The Washington Post.

During their argument, she allegedly pushed Diddy's head onto a marble countertop, threw candles and glass at him, and ran into different rooms, where Sean Combs followed and kicked the doors. As she ran to the front door, the rapper followed her and kicked her in the back of the thighs.

"I fell down on my butt and then he picked me up in a chokehold and choked me," Jane added.

Jane testified that she managed to escape the house and hid after running barefoot for six blocks. As she returned home after two hours, the witness claimed that Combs hit her more and asked her to fix her hair, hide her bruises with makeup, and "put on an outfit" to participate in a hotel night.

Reflecting on Jane's testimony, Melanie King spoke about how strong the prosecution's case was against the rapper, as the testimony painted him as a violent person, and there was solid evidence to prove Jane's story.

"I want to talk about the prosecution strength. This testimony paints Diddy as a violent controller with physical evidence, photos, the damaged doors backing Jane's story. Her emotional breakdown on the stand describing hiding and fearing for her life adds credibility," King said.

However, King stated that the defence might counter Jane's claims by arguing that there was "mutual aggression." The YouTuber added that the defence may also question why Jane returned to the house if she was scared of Combs, pointing out inconsistencies in her claims.

More about Jane's testimony in Sean "Diddy" Combs' trial

Jane, who was in a relationship with Combs from 2021 to 2024, testified that Combs pressured her into participating in the infamous hotel nights. For the unversed, hotel nights were events organized by Diddy where he would coerce individuals into non-consensual sexual activities, as reported by The Guardian.

During her testimony on June 9, 2025, Jane claimed that she first agreed to a hotel night in 2021, stating that it was a "door that I was unable to shut." She said that she wasn't willingly participating in the drug-fueled events but was doing it to impress her ex-boyfriend.

"I wanted to impress my lover," Jane said.

Diddy's ex-girlfriend also claimed that she often told the music mogul she didn't want to participate in the hotel nights, but the rapper would dismiss her concerns. She stated that she often felt obliged to go along with it because Combs was paying her rent.

Jane, who has been described as a single mother by the prosecutors, first took the witness stand on June 5, 2025, and her identity was only revealed to the jurors.
