The legal battle between It Ends With Us co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has sparked heated debate, with actress Julia Fox voicing strong support for Lively. As reported by Page Six on June 11, 2025, at the Tribeca Film Festival, Fox didn’t mince words when asked about the dismissal of Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against Lively.

"I was very happy to hear the news about Blake Lively because I support women all the time," Fox told Daily Mail. "I support women when they’re right. I support women when they’re wrong. I support women when they’re likable, and when they’re unlikable."

On June 12, 2025, podcaster and political commentator Shawn Fahey appeared on social media personality Zack Peter's podcast, No Filter, to discuss the latest developments in the Lively-Baldoni lawsuit. Shawn seemed to disapprove of Julia Fox's unconditional support for women, stating:

"I think it actually hurts the cause for women in general when we come out and say, 'I'm going to support this, and I'm going to back this individual no matter what, because they are a woman...it harms the actual individuals who have real claims."

More about the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

According to Page Six, in December 2024, Blake Lively sued her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her after she complained about on-set conditions.

Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued for defamation and attempted extortion—a suit that was dismissed on June 9, 2025, although his legal team can refile parts of certain claims by June 23. Lively’s lawyers hailed the dismissal as a “total victory.”

Meanwhile, Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, said they would continue to press forward and stated Baldoni's intention to depose Lively later this month.

According to Deadline, Blake Lively’s legal team is reportedly preparing to subpoena music executive Scooter Braun as part of her sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.

Braun will allegedly be served this week for information regarding PR crisis manager Melissa Nathan, who was hired by Baldoni during the initial fallout between the It Ends With Us co-stars.

Nathan, named as a co-defendant in Lively's December 2024 lawsuit, allegedly helped coordinate what Lively claims was a smear campaign against her after she came forward with harassment allegations.

Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively are yet to publicly comment on Julia Fox's statements. Lively and Baldoni are scheduled to appear in court in March 2026.
