Love Island UK season 12 episode 3 premiered on ITV on June 11, 2025. In the episode, the contestants gathered around the fire pit and participated in a game of dares.
During the segment, Harry got the dare to perform a lap dance for the person on his left, which was Helena. While he initially felt a bit awkward by the situation, he eventually went through with the dare as his partner Shakira was sitting next to them during the dance.
Shakira later pulled Harry aside for a conversation to talk about the same. She told him that she heard from other contestants, who had a different view from her, that he was a bit too involved with the lap dance with Helena.

Although Harry claimed that he wasn't, Shakira said that she felt mad about it and that it made her raise her guard a little bit.

In Love Island UK season 12, episode 3, after the dare challenge, Shakira found herself having doubts and pulled Harry aside for a chat. She told him that another contestant had mentioned he was giving Helena some extra “leg action” during his lap dance.
Harry turned down the accusation, saying that he only touched Helena's legs after he performed the lap dance for her. However, Shakira wasn't satisfied with the answer and expressed to her partner that it made her mad.
When Harry asked Shakira if she wasn't happy, she responded that she wasn't. He then told her that he was planning on taking her somewhere tonight, snuggling her, and telling her that she was his number one. However, after what had just happened, he believed that wouldn't be a possibility.
"Oh, that was on my agenda, too. But I'm not particularly won't be doing that, to be honest with you. I just feel like obviously we've both been chatting to other people and that's fine. Yeah, that's cool. We have established that. But I feel like I've been quite respectful to you in these situations," Shakira responded.
Harry tried to assure his Love Island UK season 12 partner that he wanted to be with her and get to know her more. But the lap dance incident was still messing with Shakira's mind, and she said that made her put her guard up a little bit.
Later in the episode, Blu pulled Shakira for a private chat on the terrace. He told her that he likes to talk to her and, based on their past chats, he felt that he had a better connection with her than with any other girl in the villa.
He then told her that he pulled her aside because he wanted to let her know that he liked her and wanted to get to know her better.
"Yeah, I enjoy our chats. I think we get on well. It's just tricky trying to balance it all in it cuz there's just fine lines everywhere, isn't there? When you're trying to get to know everyone. You're such a rascal," Shakira responded.
Later, when Shakira asked Blu if he had kissed his partner, Helena, he playfully responded by asking if she was surprised he hadn’t kissed her yet. He added that he had a feeling she might have expected it, but said he was saving the moment, for now, before leaning in and kissing Shakira.
"This place is so bad. That's a good kiss," Shakira reacted to the kiss.
