Here’s why I think 1000-lb Sisters star Amy should reconsider her wedding destination

1000-lb Sisters season 7 concluded on June 10, with episode 8. The last episode also witnessed a fight between Amy and Tammy, much like some of its previous episodes. The fight was about a recurring topic—Amy's choice of wedding destination.

Amy's family members, including 1000-lb Sisters stars Tammy, Amanda, Chris, and her mom, refused to attend her wedding because it was taking place at a haunted mental asylum. They thought this choice wasn't appropriate and believed that demons would latch onto them and come home with them.

Amy got emotional on more than one occasion and accused her family of not wanting her happiness. She had fights with Amanda and disagreements with Chris and Tammy about the same, as they repeatedly told her they didn't have a problem with her but with her choice of destination.

In light of these 1000-lb Sisters' arguments and the emotional outbursts the discussion is causing to all these people, I believe Amy should just choose another civil destination. That would put an end to the fight because everyone has already agreed to attend the wedding if it happened at a different place.

Why 1000-lb Sisters star Amy should be changing her wedding destination

1000-lb Sisters star Amy got proposed to by her new boo, Brian, at a haunted house in a mall. Amy stated that they were both into these types of things, so it was a perfect proposal to her, but her family didn't think the same of it. Chris laughed about the fact that he had never heard of someone getting proposed to at a haunted house in a mall.

And he did make sense; most have never seen someone getting proposed to at a haunted house. But Amy and Brian thought it was the best, and they even conjured a plan to get married in a more realistic setting. A mental asylum, which is now said to be haunted. When her family questioned it, she simply said it was just something she and Brian were into.

The family was just conflicted about it at first, but one by one, they all said they weren't going to attend because they couldn't risk getting possessed. It was Amy's wedding that was at stake, and these people were ready to pass on their own sister's wedding because that was how much the place freaked them out.

Amy could just take this obvious cue and change the destination. Tammy also told her she loved her, and Chris and Amanda also weren't cold and dismissive but warm and explanatory until their inconclusive arguments needed them to disperse.

If the destination was the only thing that was keeping Amy's relatives from attending her wedding, changing it was an instant solution. She might've thought that her family should've respected her choice of destination, but if they're not doing that, she should just switch up the location. After all, the attendance of one's family members was more important than the thrill of getting married at a particular location.

Moreover, it would make everyone happy, not just about the fact that they weren't coming back possessed, but also about the fact that Amy was getting married at a reputable location. I personally believe that Amy is currently stuck thinking that her family is being unreasonable and unjust, which is why she wants to rebel and not think of changing the destination at all.

But if she wants her wedding to be thought of as a happy memory years down the line, she should reconsider changing the destination. A destination full of people one loves is still better than an empty destination.
