Love Island USA season 7 episode 7 premiered on Peacock on June 9. At the end of the episode, host Ariana Madix informed the couples that they would be having a re-coupling, and this time the guys had the chance to choose who they wanted as their partner. In the end, Nic had to choose between Belle-A and Sierra. He picked Sierra, eliminating Belle-A in the process.
Before leaving the villa, as she stood in front of all the couples, Belle-A expressed that she felt like she "always put the wrong people first" in her life. However, she added that she knows her worth and believes that someday someone will find her and cherish her value.
"I feel like I always put the wrong people first, and I always have in my life. But I know my heart is the prettiest thing about me, and I'm going to keep my head held high because somebody else is going to see my worth and my value. And I trust God's plan," she said upon her elimination.
How was Belle-A eliminated in the Love Island USA season 7 episode 7?
At the end of Love Island USA season 7 episode 7, the recoupling came down to Nic, who faced the tough decision of choosing between the two women with whom he had a connection: Belle-A and Sierra. Nic prioritized the moments he shared with Sierra and chose her. Belle-A was left without a partner and was immediately eliminated.
"I would like to couple up with this girl because I feel whenever we have a conversation about our future, what her future looks like is a lot what I want my future to look like," he said before calling out a name.
The Love Island USA season 7 contestant continued:
"I think that her beauty on the outside is reflective of like, her beauty on the inside as well. I think that it's divine, it's radiant. And I think that a moment we shared in the photo booth was unforgettable. So the girl that I would like to couple up with is Sierra."
After being picked, Sierra sat next to Nic and expressed that she felt “validated” reuniting with him. She mentioned it was reassuring to know that she wasn’t crazy for having the feelings she did — and that those feelings were mutual, which she found really comforting.
However, while getting to know Nic, Sierra also formed a connection with Belle-A. She said she genuinely liked her and hated that her presence on the show meant Belle-A had to leave.
While Belle-A was hurt that Nic didn't pick her, she remained hopeful about her future. She said that her heart is the prettiest thing about her, and someday she would find someone who understands and values her worth.
Most of the female Love Island USA contestants were saddened by Belle-A's exit. Huda broke down into tears, referring to the eliminated contestant as her "little sister." After the girls covered Belle-A with a group hug, Nic pulled her aside for a chat. He asked her how she was feeling after everything that had taken place regarding the two of them.
Belle-A responded that she had high hopes for their relationship and that it broke her heart they wouldn’t be able to see it through. However, she added that she should have picked up on the hint early on that he wasn't into her at the level she was.
"I think like someone is and will like, they're gonna find you one day and give you that 100% commitment that you're looking for. And I'm sorry that, like, I couldn't be that person," Nic responded.
Love Island USA season 7 episodes premiere every day on Peacock.
